1.Agreement to these terms

These terms are a contract between you and Glevu ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to bind that business. If you do not agree, do not use Glevu.

2.What Glevu provides

Glevu is a hosted platform that lets a business publish a website and run tools such as online ordering, bookings, a blog, and payments. Features depend on your plan and on the tools you activate. We may add, change, or retire features as the product develops, and will avoid removing something you depend on without reasonable notice.

3.Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You must give accurate account information and keep it up to date. You must be able to form a binding contract to use Glevu.

4.Your responsibilities as a merchant

You are responsible for your business and for how you use Glevu, including:

  • complying with the laws that apply to you, including consumer, tax, and data protection law;
  • being the data controller for your own customers data, with a lawful basis and a privacy notice of your own;
  • the accuracy of your listings, prices, availability, and the fulfilment of the orders and bookings your customers place;
  • holding the rights to the content and media you upload.

5.Acceptable use

You agree not to use Glevu to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • sell goods or services that are illegal in your market;
  • send spam or deceive your customers;
  • attack, overload, reverse engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or to other businesses running on it.

We may suspend or limit accounts that put the platform, its users, or their customers at risk.

6.Plans, fees, and trials

Paid plans are billed in advance for the billing period you choose. Trials, where offered, convert to a paid plan unless cancelled before the trial ends. Fees are stated exclusive of any applicable taxes unless we say otherwise. We may change prices with reasonable prior notice, effective from your next billing period. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non refundable.

7.Payments

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms. Where your Glevu site takes payments from your own customers, those flows are described in the product and may depend on connecting a payment provider. You are responsible for the tax treatment of your own sales.

8.Ownership of content

You keep ownership of the content you put into Glevu. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, display, and back up that content so we can run the service for you. We own the platform itself, including its software, design, and templates. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the product.

9.Suspension, termination, and closing your business

You can stop using Glevu at any time. We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or where required by law. When a business is closed on Glevu, its site is taken offline and, after a grace window, personal data is purged, while records we must keep for accounting are retained in anonymized form. We will make reasonable efforts to let you export your content before it is deleted.

10.Data export and switching (EU Data Act)

Under the EU Data Act, you have the right to switch from Glevu to another provider. We provide a machine-readable export of your tenant data and metadata (in JSON format) at any time from your admin dashboard. We provide a 30-day transition period during which your data remains accessible, and require up to 2 months' notice to assist with complex switching. In accordance with the Data Act, from January 12, 2027, no switching charges will apply.

11.Warranties and disclaimers

We work hard to keep Glevu available and reliable, but the platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent the law permits. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error free. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under mandatory law, including consumer protection law where it applies to you.

12.Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for our fraud.

13.Accessibility

We build the platform to be accessible and test it against WCAG in our continuous integration. The European Accessibility Act has applied since June 2025; many small merchants are exempt as microenterprises, but you remain responsible for the accessibility of the content you publish. See our Accessibility statement for details. We do not use accessibility overlay widgets.

14.Data processing terms (Article 28)

This section forms the data processing agreement between you (the controller) and Glevu (the processor) for the customer personal data we process on your behalf. It applies alongside our Privacy policy.

  • Scope and purpose. We process your customers personal data only to provide the platform to you, and only on your documented instructions, which include your use of the product's settings and features.
  • Confidentiality. Our personnel who access the data are bound by confidentiality.
  • Security. We keep appropriate technical and organisational measures, including the ones described in the Privacy policy.
  • Subprocessors. You authorize the subprocessors listed in the Privacy policy. We will inform you before adding a new one that handles personal data, so you can object.
  • Assistance. We will help you, taking account of the nature of processing, to respond to data subject requests and to meet your security, breach notification, and impact assessment duties. We will notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting your data.
  • Erasure and return. On the end of the service, we will delete or return your customers personal data, except where the law requires us to keep it.
  • Audit. We will make available the information reasonably needed to show compliance with these terms.

15.Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you are based, including, for customers in Sweden and the wider European Union, rights that cannot be waived. We will try to resolve any dispute with you directly first. Where required, consumers may use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.

16.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform or the law changes. We will post the new version here with an updated date, and for material changes we will give notice and, where appropriate, ask you to accept the new terms before continuing to use the service.
